    Why?

    A social need

    The planet is slipping through our fingers, nature is crying out for help, and the lives of future generations are in danger. While all this is happening, most humans continue to prioritize their comfort. The sixth mass extinction of species in history, the first caused by humans, is underway.

    What?

    A social enterprise

    We establish partnerships with environmental NGOs and ask them to propose an animal or plant of interest to them. We create a naturalist illustration and develop informative material about the species in question. In parallel, we develop textile accessories and print the illustrations we have prepared.

    We donate 10% of the sale price of all products to the environmental NGOs with which we collaborate. All products are accompanied by informative material, which aims to raise environmental awareness in society.

    How?

    Responsibly

    To produce our products, we select materials that have the lowest possible environmental impact. The first collection was made with cotton from Andalusia from integrated production (a type of production that limits the use of chemicals to protect the environment, health, and worker safety). Although it is not organic, it is a more sustainable option than importing organic cotton, which is mainly grown in Asia and America.

    Furthermore, we are committed to local production. All our products are handcrafted in the province of Barcelona, mainly in the Maresme and Vallès regions.

    Who?

    A Convinced Woman

    My name is Patricia. My love and respect for nature have been the driving force behind continuing Giraffa. I have been fortunate enough to live in contact with nature and learn from it every day.

    My medical studies, despite being far from the field of Biology, have given me a different perspective on the importance of protecting the natural environment: the health of ecosystems is directly linked to our own. In my practice, I have dedicated myself to human health; now I want to dedicate myself to the health of the planet and all its species. For this reason, I temporarily left my job to fulfill a dream and act in accordance with my values.

    This project would not exist without the idea of Alba Calls, a social entrepreneur and initial developer of the brand.
