Trebalúger equine rescue
Who are we?
With the help of family, friends, and volunteers, Samantha Lake founded the Trebaluger equine rescue center, with Kate and Vicki as signatories. They rent a facility with 42,000 m² of land and some stables, and have gone from housing only a few horses to currently accommodating 34 permanent equine residents.

Why did it come about?
The beginnings
At Trebaluger Equine Rescue we believe every horse, pony, donkey and mule has the right to a happy and healthy life, free from fear and abandonment, providing them with a safe and loving place to live and be free, giving them essential veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, and lifetime care.

This model is the result of a collaboration with Sylvia, from Casa sa Petitona, on the island of Menorca.
Casa sa Petitona is much more than a store; it is a space where artists, creators, and art lovers share a common place. Different workshops are held periodically, and all the products in the store are based on sustainability and respect.
Furthermore, Sylvia volunteers at Trebaluger, thus closing a circle of beauty, collaboration, and respect.
